2. Second Cook Course
IFS provides second cooking courses for IFS clients only. IFS believes that a well-trained cook makes all the difference.
The course can best be described as a practical, very intensive, all-in boot camp. Over the course of twelve weeks, all participants will learn the essentials of cooking on board of a vessel from experienced ship cooks:
- what are the basic cooking rules
- how to create safety awareness
- how to prepare tasteful dishes with a minimum of ingredients - how to handle culture food differences
Thanks to this general introduction second ship cooks will be up to speed in no time, in line with all international regulations such as Marpol guidelines and MLC 2006 certification.
This course is IFS certified.
